These footplates are fully functional but have more noticeable cosmetic imperfections—such as deeper scratches or abrasive milling marks—that didn’t meet our standard for first-quality products. The marks are similar in texture to 120–180 grit sandpaper: visible to the eye, but not deep enough to affect strength or performance.
Because the edges may not be as clean as a brand-new unit, we strongly recommend pairing your footplate with a Band Guard or similar protective layer to extend its life and protect your bands.

What Are Open Package Items?
OPIs items are either display model items, items with packaging damaged in transit, and or customer returns outside of original packaging. All items are in "like new" condition but but may include blemishes, scuffs, scrapes or light signs of use. OPI items may not come in original packaging.
All returned items go through a rigorous inspection process and any items deemed not suitable for re-sale are donated to either local or in some cases international fitness programs.
Clearance items are new items that have never been used. These will not have OPI in the title of the product.

Impressive construction. While there is cosmetic blemishes, in no way would they effect the performance of the footplate,
and buy that, I mean damage your bands. Very fair price to upgrade to this item. Put your SSF bands through this and be happy.
